SSC is a government organization of India, known by the name of Staff Selection Commission. Staff Selection Commission releases vacancies in multitudes of departments and, each year many students and individuals fill in to get inside those departments. One of those departments is the MTS department, which has the full name of MultiTasking. It is as coveted as other departments and, tough competition from candidates persists, so apt knowledge is very necessary to ace the exam.
SYLLABUS FOR SSC MTS Recruitment Exam

Few topics which come in the GK & Reasoning section are : Decision making, visual memory, Problem solving, Relationship based questions, observations, questions based on judgment, Similarities & differences, Space visualization and many more.
Few topics which come in the General Awareness section are : History, Geography, Sports, Our Constitution, Economics, Politics, culture, Scientific Research and many more.
Few topics which come in the English section are : Basics of Grammar, Synonyms & Antonyms, their usage, Vocabulary, Sentence formations and many more..
Few topics which come in the Arithmetic Analysis section are : Time & Work, Profit & Loss,Ratio & Time, Operations, Percentages & Averages, computational analysis, Interest & Discounts, Mensuration, Time & Distance, Ratio and proportions, Decimals, Fractions, Number connection and many more.
EXAM PATTERN FOR SSC MTS Recruitment Exam:
Exam is divided into two stages and, both the stages are written exam with different patterns.
Paper 1 is a multiple choice questions based paper and, in Paper 2 a candidate is required to enumerate an essay on a given topic to show his skills.
Paper 1 is divided into 4 sections where, the sections are English, GK and reasoning , Arithmetic analysis, General Awareness.
The overall duration of paper 1 is a total of 120 minutes.
Different sections have different weightage. English and General Awareness has 50 marks each, whereas GK plus Reasoning and Arithmetic analysis has 25 marks each.
Paper 2 is a descriptive type paper in which, a candidate is asked to answer a question based on the 8th schedule of Constitution of India.
To attempt Paper 2, 30 minutes are provided and, 50 marks are allotted for the same.
