Training sessions for School Management Committee (SMC) members on October 15 by SCERT
Subsequently of Children’s Day celebration, November 14, the State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has decided to conduct Teaching sessions for School Management Committee (SMC) members on October 15.As per reports, the SCERT will be giving necessary material for organizing ‘Reading Melas’ on all Sundays till Children’s Day.
As per reports, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has set the deadline of November 14 by when every government school student from class six to eight should be able to read Further, the Delhi government said that the arrangement for the ‘Every Child Can Read’ programme has begun on pilot basis. It is expected that over 250 melas will take place on all Sundays till November 14. These melas will be organized in community spaces or schools Also, students and their parents will together work on protect the children’s ability to read Meanwhile, reports suggest that ‘Every Child Can Read’ plan was disclose by the Directorate of Education. In coordination with the government, schools are making all possible efforts to protect that each and every child from class six to eight will be able to read grade-level textbooks by this Children’s Day.”If an environment of academic exactness and learning is created, children will be encouraged to follow educational prowess. ‘Reading Melas’ will bring together schools, parents, children and the community in non-classroom spaces for the first time,” Manish Sisodia said.’Chunauti 2018′ and ‘Every Child Can Read’ programmers are two of the most important steps in that direction, the Sisodia added.
Government to give more freedom to Indian Institutes of Management

According to official data, another change in the proposed order is that the HRD ministry has given more powers to the Board of Governors of the IIMs to appoint their director. Temporarily, the new order bill has away to the Law ministry for screening. Furthermore, it is seen that the HRD ministry under Irani did not favour some of the above intimate changes. However, the PMO was in support of giving more free.
No reservation for defence category in MBBS and in BDS courses
The Delhi High Court has administer the Union Health Ministry to resolve before the next academic session whether there can be reservation for defence category in undergraduate medical courses in colleges under the Centre as propose by the Home Ministry. Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva asked the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to take a conclusion “quick” on Ministry of Home Affairs’ nomination, so that if reservation is allowed, it can be executed from the next academic session.“Ministry of Health and Family Welfare shall consider the nominations of the Ministry of Home and take a decision thereon rapidly so that if they decide to have reservation for defence man power, the same can be executed at least for the next academic session,” the court said.
