IBPS PO Prelims 2016: Score card released, calculate your mark at ibps.in

The score card for Probationary Officers (PO) examination has been released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) yesterday on November 11. Those who will qualify in the preliminary examination will then have to appear for main examination (online) which will be held on November 20.The score card for Probationary Officers (PO) examination has been released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) yesterday on November 11. All those candidates who had appeared for the same are required to check their respective scores at the official website www.ibps.in. The exam was conducted on October 16, 22, 23 and 27 for the recruitment of probationary officers (PO)/management trainees in various public sector banks and other participating organizations (CWE PO/MT-VI). The candidates can check the scores till November 20.


UPSC NDA & NA (II) Exam 2016: Written result declared at upsc.gov.in

The result of NDA and NA examination (II) which was conducted by the UPSC has been declared. The exam was conducted on September 18 for admission into army, navy and air force wings of the NDA and for the 100th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The result of National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examination (II) which was conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has been declared. All those candidates who had appeared for the prestigious exam are required to check the same at the official website www.upsc.gov.in.


India vs. England, 1st Test, Day 4: Visitors now front-runners in Rajkot

 

Rajkot Test heads towards a draw after England end Day 4 with a 163-run lead against India, who w ere bowled out for 488 in 1st innings. Chances to have a result in the first India-England Test diminished after the visitors reached 114/0 at stumps on day four in Rajkot. England now leads by 163 runs in second innings with only one day left in the match. Openers Alastair Cook and Haseeb Hameed put the initial struggle past them to take the team to close of play without any loss.19-year-old Hameed, who is making a debut, scored his maiden Test half-century. He played a sublime innings and left everyone in awe of his stroke making, especially a straight six off Ravindra Jadea. Earlier in the day, England bowled out India for 488 in the first innings to secure a 49-run lead. England could have scored runs at brisk pace in the second innings but Captain Cook and Hameed did not show any signs of hurry and has brought down the possibility of a result in the first match.


Reliance Jio’s next big offering could hit DTH and broadband services

Reliance Jio is expected to roll out its direct to home services, which will affect established broadband and DTH players. Reliance Jio has already shaken up the telecom industry in India with its Reliance Jio 4G service offerings. However, the company has more up its sleeve. In fact, in a few months the combination will roll out its direct to home services, which have the potential to make life hard for existing broadband players as well as DTH operators. The service will come in the form of a high-speed optical fibre – pushing speeds up to 1 Gbps. The cables are already laid for most of India and some pilot services are being offered in part of Mumbai.
