NIOS begins common service centres for online filling of exam forms

“NIOS has started services at 7,472 common service centres in all 38 districts of Bihar where students can fill forms online for 12th and 10th examinations,” said Sanjay Kumar Sinha, Regional Director NIOS. In an aim to connect the common man with the Digital India and Skill India programme, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has started 7,472 common service centres in all 38 districts of Bihar where students can fill forms for standard 12th and 10th examination.


CBSE to remove objectionable content from social science textbook: Madras HC

The petitioner said after doing some research, it came to know that the history narrated in the book was incorrect and some of the contents ‘degraded’ the entire Nadar community. The Madras High Court today directed CBSE to consider and pass orders within three months on a representation, seeking a direction to it to remove alleged objectionable content in class 9 social science textbook about the Nadar community. The court gave the direction while disposing of a Public Interest Litigation by the Advocates Forum for Social Justice.
