OPSC Insurance Medical Officer exam Pattern :-

The Qualification of the IMO exam is:-

Candidate Qualification must be MBBS or Equivalent Degree from medical college or institute by the Medical council of India for the IMO post.

Age Limit for IMO candidate age should not below than 21 year and Upper than 32 Year.

Relaxations of the age will be according to Category rules. Candidate also must have a valid Registration Certificate under Odisha Medical Registration rules 1995.

The Exam Pattern of the IMO exam is:-

Exam paper will be based on Objective and Multiple choice question patterns. Duration of the exam will be 3 hours. There will be 1 exam paper of 200 marks for 200 questions. There is no Negative marking for any wrong question. Qualifying marks for General and SEBC is 50 & and for SC/ST is 40% marks.

Syllabus:-

O&G, Medicine, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Microbiology, F.M.T., Pharmacology, Skin & VD., Radio Diagnosis, Dental, Community Medicine, Pediatrics, ENT, Anesthesiology, Psychiatry etc.

Selection:-

Selection Process of the candidate will depend on Written Exam and merit and Career Marking (Refer OPSC Notification about Career Marking). Written exam will be for 70% and Career Marking will carry 30 % Marks. Pay Grade of the IMO IS Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,000/- With Grade pay of Rs. 5,400/-
