Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has recently released notification to recruit Deputy Collector and district superintendent of police. CGPSC is the department responsible for recruitment of employees for various departments of Chhattisgarh government. As these jobs are of big designations and important responsibilities, competition for the job is very tough. To be eligible for the recruitment process the candidate must have attained a minimum age of 18 and should be within the maximum age limit of 30 years. The candidate should be graduate in any discipline from a centrally recognized university. Candidates from reserved categories enjoy some additional relaxations on age limits.

The Final selection will be made on basis of 3 rounds of exams, preliminary examination, Mains examination, and personal interview.

The MPPSC Preliminary examination will have two papers, general studies and aptitude test. The General Studies paper will be of 200 marks and General Aptitude Test will also be of 200 marks.

The Mains examination will have various papers, Paper 1 will be of language, paper 2 essay, paper 3 history, constitution and public administration, Paper 4 science, technology and environment. Paper 5 economics and geography, paper 6 mathematics and logical ability, paper 7 philosophy and sociology.

All the papers out of 200 marks each.  The personal interview round will be off another 150 marks.

As these jobs are of big designations, good salary, good perks, respect and power the competition is extremely tough. Applicants should start their preparation as soon as possible. A proper schedule should be prepared first for the preparation. Each subject should be allotted enough time, after the preliminary preparation, candidates should start taking the mock tests. The previous year papers available on our website can be used for mock tests. Taking mock tests boosts confidence and reduce time required to solve the questions in the actual exam.

To prepare the GK well aspirants should read the complete newspaper daily. Apart from newspaper, various books are available in the market to help candidates prepare GK for the exams. The knowledge of GK will not only help in the written rounds but will also help in personal interview round. After the Mains exams, the candidates should work on their speaking skills for the interview round.
