UID Aptitude Test Syllabus, exam pattern & Eligibility Criteria

UID aptitude test is an entrance exam for getting admissions in United world Institute of Design. UID is a private institute and conducts its own entrance exam, which is Design Aptitude Analysis. United world Institute Of Design offers undergraduate and postgraduate in Design and Art under the schools of Communication Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design and Interior Design. The institute is affiliated to Karnawati University.

The Design Aptitude Analysis is an offline entrance exam but the applications can be submitted through both offline and online mode. There are no scholarships available for the students but there are seat reservations available in the institute.

UID Test Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for UID Aptitude Test 2018 is different for UG and PG design courses offered at United world Institute of Design.

The UID Entrance Exam eligibility criteria for UG courses offered at UID is as mentioned below:

• Minimum 10+2, higher secondary education with minimum 50% aggregate score from any recognised higher secondary school board as on date of commencement of academic session from July 2018.

• Clearance and merit of Design Aptitude Analysis exam will be considered for admissions.

• “In case a candidate is appearing for 12th Standard Higher Secondary Exam, related evidence may be provided at the time of admission” informs the officials.

• All the applicants are advised to bring a Demand Draft of Rs 2000/- along with the application form, the attested documents, a creative portfolio and work to demonstrate their creative skills before the admission jury.

• Age limit: 20 years

The UID Entrance Exam eligibility criteria for PG courses offered at UID is as mentioned below:

• Passed Bachelor’s under 10+2+3/4 system in the concerned discipline.

• All the applicants are advised to bring a Demand Draft of Rs 2000/- along with the application form, the attested documents, a creative portfolio and work to demonstrate their creative skills before the admission jury.

UID Test Application Procedure

There are two ways to submit application for the Design Aptitude Analysis ; offline and online.

Offline Procedure:

• The applicants must download the application form from the official website of UID.
• The applicants should fill the details in the downloaded application form.
• The applicants then have to submit the form with other documents at the Institute.

Online Procedure:

• The applicants can also fill the application form online by visiting the official website of UID.
• The applicant must register himself/herself on the portal using create new user tab.
• The applicant will have to login using his/her user ID and password on the portal.
• After logging in they can fill the details in the application form and take a print out of the completely filled application form.
• The applicant then have to submit the form at the Institute with other documents.
