Jharkhand High Court Stenographer Exam Pattern
There will be an Online Examination and a Typing Test followed by a Personality Test/Personal Interview.
Pattern for the Stenographer Exam:
- The test will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- The time duration of the test will be of 2 Hours.
- There is no negative marking.

The speed of shorthand has to be 100 Words Per Minute.
- The speed of typing should be 40 Words Per Minute.
- Both of these tests permit only up to a maximum of 10% mistakes.
- The Qualifying Marks as per categories –
If the candidate gets the minimum qualifying marks for the written examination and the typing test – he/she will go through the second phase: Personal Interview.

How to apply?
The advertisement for the recruitment post of Stenographer in Jharkhand High Court will be given on their official website. The application has to be submitted before the due date with an application fee of –
- 500/- for General / OBC
- 125/- for ST / SC / PwD
The payment can be made via Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. Payment can also be made via gateway name: Insta Mojo The admit cards will be available for downloading shortly after the application procedure on the official website of Jharkhand High Court. Candidate must thoroughly go through the eligibility criteria before applying. A Graduate Degree from a University that is recognized by the Government of India before the last date of submission of application + proficiency in English shorthand and typing
*Shorthand speed must be: 100 Word Per Minute on Computer.
*Typing speed must be 40 Word Per Minute on Computer.
General: Minimum: 18 Years
Maximum: 35 Years
OBC: Minimum: 18 Years
Maximum: 37 Years
Female General / OBC: Minimum: 18 Years

SC / ST: Minimum: 18 Years
Maximum: 40 Years
Physically disabled candidates will get up to another 5 Years of relaxation.
