American politician John Fetterman has been Pennsylvania’s 34th lieutenant governor since 2019.
John was the mayor of Braddock from 2006 to 2019, and the Democrats have nominated him to run for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania in 2022.
Is John Fetterman Jewish?
In 1969, John Fetterman was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania, at Reading Hospital. The politician has said that he had a “privileged” upbringing and that he “sleptwalked” through his teenage years, playing football for four years in college and then taking over his father’s business.
John went to Albright College and got a Bachelor of Arts in finance in 1991. In 1995, he joined AmeriCorps, which was just starting up. He was sent to Pittsburgh to teach GED students.
Before going to Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government to get his Master of Public Policy in 1999, the politician worked for two years in Pittsburgh.
He hasn’t talked about his religion, but it looks like he’s Jewish, but he hasn’t said for sure.
Susan and Karl Fetterman are John’s parents. Who are they?
John Fetterman was born to Susan and Karl Fetterman. Even though they were married, his parents were both only 19 when he was born.
John is 52 years old, so his parents must be in their early 70s right now, but no one knows for sure when they were born.
His parents eventually moved to York, Pennsylvania, where he grew up. His father worked as a partner in an insurance company.
Karl did well in the insurance business, and his family did well as a result. He grew up in a wealthy suburb of New York City with Republicans for parents.
John has a brother because his parents had two boys. Gregg Fetterman, the youngest member of the family, has been found to be his brother.

Gisele Barreto Fetterman is the executive director of a non-profit and an activist. She started the non-profits Freestore 15104, For Good Pgh, and 412 Food Rescue.
She started The Braddock Free Store, which is a non-profit organisation that helps low-income families in the area get toys, diapers, baby formula, clothes, household items, and furniture. Almost 1,600 families are helped each month by the group.
Gisele started the Braddock Bench Project, whose goal was to put benches at bus stops in the area. In 2015, she helped start 412 Food Rescue, a non-profit group that works to end food insecurity and give low-income families access to healthy food.
During its first two years, the group gave away 2.5 million pounds of food. She started a local project called the Positive Parking Signs Project, which puts up signs around towns with messages like “Follow Your Dreams” and “More Hugs Required.”
In 2017, the activist started a non-profit called For Good PGH, which promotes diversity and inclusion. In 2019, For Good PGH took over the Free Store 15104. For Good’s biggest project is the Hollander Project, which is a business incubator for women who want to start their own businesses.
