BCECE is short for Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination and, there is a BCECE Board which conducts a Bihar CET for students and eligible candidates, who wish to get enrolled in Bihar colleges for the courses such as engineering, medical, agriculture etc.This examination is held on an yearly basis and, many students and aspiring candidates take this test as, the eligibility is that a candidate taking the CET must have passed 12th standard atleast.

EXAM PATTERN FOR BIHAR CET –

• Bihar CET is conducted in two parts. Two papers are conducted called as Stage I and Stage II.
• Stage I is conducted around April while Stage II is conducted around the month of June.
• Both the papers have the same syllabus and have MCQ type question paper.
• 4 sections are asked in the exam – Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology.
• The total marks for the exam is 600, where each section carries 200 marks.
• The total duration of the exam is 2 hours and 15 minutes.
• For a candidate, Physics and Chemistry are compulsory papers, where one may choose either Biology or Maths as the third subject.
• The syllabus for stage II paper is exactly the same.
• Each section will carry 100 questions, with +4 marks for each correct answer making it a total of 400 marks. One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• For stage II exam, 90 minutes are provided to attempt each section.

SYLLABUS FOR BCECE Entrance exam –

The total and major syllabus of the BCECE exam is not different than what the syllabus is for 11th and 12th class CBSE and state board.

One should be thorough through the topics of 11th and 12th NCERT and, Other state board books.
