EXAM PATTERN FOR APPSC :-
- Three stages of the exam are : Prelims paper, Mains paper and the final stage is a personal interview.
- The Prelims paper is an objective type paper of 2 hours and 30 minutes, with 150 questions each one one mark on the topic of Mental Ability and General Studies.
- The shortlisted candidates after the Prelims paper, give Mains exam which is a descriptive type paper.
- The Mains paper has a compulsory section of English ( 150 questions, 150 marks ) which has to be completed in Three hours maximum. It is a descriptive type paper.
- A set of five papers of each three hours and, of 150 marks are to be attempted in the exam by the candidate.
- The last stage of the interview holds a crucial weightage of 75 marks.
- The final list is made on the basis of Mains paper and the Interview.
