Exam Pattern for Indian Bank PO Exam

The recruitment procedure is a two step module: Prelims and Mains. The initial stage of the process is Indian Bank Prelims and the final stage is Indian Bank Mains. The Indian Bank Mains are followed by a personal interview.

PRELIMINARY Exam:-

This is a multiple choice online examination consisting of 100 marks. The maximum time allowed for this paper is 1 hour.

The preliminary exam of Indian Bank exam pattern is NOT a qualifying exam. You need to score sufficiently high in this exam, as it will be counted in Final Merit List.

MAINS:-

This is again an online objective type paper with 200 question. The total allotted time to complete the paper is 2 hours.

In mains, except English Language (objective) and Descriptive English, all other subjects will be available bilingually.

Aspirants qualifying the cut of Prelims will be eligible to write Mains.

Descriptive English:-

This is an extended version of Mains. There will be no gap provided between Main and Descriptive Paper.

Interview:-

Those students who clear Mains will be called for Interview and is for 100 marks. The Final Merit List will be based on combined final score including Interview marks.
