SAIL BOKARO Technician Operator Previous Papers

The Steel authority of India Limited (SAIL) has published the notification regarding the recruitment of operator cum technician trainee (OCTT) at the Bokaro steel plant. This plant is located in Bokaro, Jharkhand. It is one of the major steel plants in India. The post of operator cum technician trainee at the Bokaro steel plant is considered under the Central Government jobs.

All the eligible candidates who wish to work with the SAIL may apply using online means only. The upper age of the candidates should be 28 years.

Candidates must possess Matriculation and an engineering degree (Chemical/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Ceramics/ Metallurgy) from a recognised institute or university.

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in Written Test and Skill Test.

Exam Pattern for SAIL BOKARO Technician Operator

The SAIL Bokaro Technician cum Operator test is an objective type multiple choice based question paper. The duration of the test is 145 minutes and the overall marks of the test are 250.

The paper is divided into two sections- General Aptitude and Technical. The General Aptitude section is further divided into 4 parts namely Quantitative Aptitude, English Verbal ability, General awareness, and Reasoning. The technical section is regarding the engineering related questions.

The technical section is of 100 marks. Whereas Aptitude is 45, Reasoning is 35, English and General Awareness 35 each. In total, the General Aptitude is of 150 marks.
