MPSC Sub Inspector Previous Year Question and Sample Model Papers
The recruitment notification is officially conducted by Maharashtra Public Service Commission to give opportunity to eligible candidates for Sub Inspector Post in the Maharashtra Police department. Recruitment vacancies are divided into different categories, applicants can check for the complete recruitment details mentioned in the official website mpsc.gov.in. Candidates who are resident of Maharashtra State whether they are male or female who satisfies eligibility criteria can apply for the MPSC PSI Recruitment Notification through online from 28th February 2018
MPSC PSI will recruit candidates in 4 phases,
- Preliminary Examination – 100 Marks
- Main Examination – 200 Marks
- Physical Test – 100 Marks
- Interview – 40 Marks

Preliminary Examination:
The Preliminary Examination will be of 100 Questions (Each Question of 1 mark) of total 100 Marks and language of question paper will be in Marathi & English. Exam duration will be of 1 hour and it will be Graduate level examination.
Syllabus contains Current Affairs, Civics, Geography, Economics, History of Maharashtra, Science, Logical& Numerical Reasoning.

Main Examination:
Applicants who qualifies Preliminary Examination will be selected for Main Examination.Main Examination consist of two papers each of 100 marks and 1 hour duration for each paper, and paper will contain 60 questions of Marathi Language and 40 questions of English Language. Syllabus consist of General Knowledge and Mental Ability.

Physical Test:
Candidate who qualifies Main Examination with enough merit test score will be selected for the Physical test.
- For Men:
- Iron Ball Throwing: 7.260 kg (15 Marks)
- Pull-Ups: 8 (20 Marks)
- Long Jump – 15 Marks
- Race – 800 meters (50 Marks)
- For Women:
- Iron Ball Throwing: 4 kg(15 Marks)
- Brisk Walking: 3 km (40 Marks)

Eligibility Criteria For MPSC SI Post:
The candidates who wants to apply for MPSC PSI Post should be Graduated or have equivalent qualification from recognized university and knowledge of Marathi language is essential.
The applicant should have the height of minimum 165 cm for male and for female minimum height is 157 cm and the chest for male should be Unexpanded 79 cm and Expanded 84 cm.
Most important applicant must have clear all the four phase for the final selection procedure.
Application Fee:
For General Category the Fee is Rs.374 and other category Fee is Rs.274.
Age Limit:
The candidate should have minimum age of 18 Years and maximum age of 38 Years for the eligibility for this post.
