JEE Mains Examination Date April 2020 {Revised & Updated}

As per the announcement the JEE (Mains) 2020 will be conducted between July 18-23

National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed JEE Mains 2020 exam due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. The new date released for the exam is the last week of May. The admit card is set to release after April 15. The candidates can track the various events relating to the examination on its official website. The exam was previously scheduled to be held on April 5, 7 to 9 and 11. NTA has re- opened the correction facility in JEE Mains 2020 application form on the official website (except the change in choice of cities). According to the notifications, the corrections can now be made from April 1 to April 14 up to 11:50 pm. JEE Main 2020 image correction window is now available on it’s official website. National Testing Agency extended the last date for submission of JEE Mains 2020 Application Form till March 12 (11:50 pm).

The application form for JEE Main 2020 exam for April was released on February 7. The candidates who were interested in the exam were allowed to submit the application form till March 12 which is the extended period of submission.

JEE Main 2020 Application Form submission:

NTA has declared the JEE Mains Exam dates for the April 2020. The application form for JEE Main were allowed to be submitted till March 12 but the image correction window has been re-opened for all the registered candidates from April 1 to 14 up to 11:50 pm. The candidates can follow the steps to fill the application form.

Step:1- Register online for JEE Mains 2020 with the basic details of the candidates.

Step:2- Next the candidates need to fill their personal information such as education, communication, guardian details and paper preferences and exam centers.

Step:3- The candidates need to upload their scanned photograph and signature according to the specifications mentioned.

Step:4- After the documents are uploaded, candidates have to pay the application fees online.

Step:5- After the payment, candidates have to print out the application form for future reference.

JEE Main Admit Card:

NTA can notify the candidates about the JEE Main 2020 admit card release date on or after April 15. The candidates can download it from the JEE Main official website by logging in using their application number and password. The candidates need to carry their admit card to the examination hall along with any one of the identity proofs such as PAN Card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card/ Ration Card.

JEE Main 2020 Answer Key:

The answer key of the JEE Main of the April exam will be published by NTA will be uploaded on their official website. Candidates can check and download the answer keys from the site. The JEE Main question papers and recorded responses will also be uploaded along with the answer keys.

JEE Main 2020 Result:

The results of JEE Main 2020 will be declared by the NTA for the April session on April 30,2020. The results can be accessed by the candidates by entering their date of birth and roll number. The result will contain the score obtained in the entrance test. The conducting authority will declare the rank list of the JEE Main for each category. The rank list will be divided in two types- All India Rank and Category Rank.

NTA has released the JEE Main exam pattern, syllabus and the sample papers on their official website. The candidates must get well- acquainted with the marks distribution, total number of questions, exam duration and all the other details of the exam.
