Izzat Daouk and his young son both died in a terrible accident that happened on Friday, July 8, 2022.
According to An-Nahar, Daouk had an accident in Sharm El-Sheikh, which is a tourist spot. He was taking a vacation with his family. The news also says that both the business owner and his son were seriously hurt. They need surgery, but the doctors were not able to save them. Still, Daouk’s daughter was badly hurt, and Daouk’s family wants to get her more medical care in Lebanon.
Ali al-Halabi, Lebanon’s ambassador to Egypt, said that the embassy was told about Ezzat Daouk and his son’s deaths right after the accident in Sharm el-Sheikh yesterday. The bodies are expected to arrive in Lebanon tomorrow.
Roy is the name of Izzat Daouk’s daughter who was hurt, and Gad was the name of his 10-year-old son who died.
Daouk and his family live in Choueifat, which is southeast of Beirut and is one of the largest and most important cities in Lebanon.
