NEET Exam Date 2020 (Postponed): Check New NEET UG Exam Dates & Time

NEET Exam dates 2020 has been postponed by NTA. NEET 2020. NEET Exams are the entrance exams for getting into the studies of Graduate and Post Graduate Medical Courses. NEET Exams are also known as National Eligibility cum Entrance Test are to be taken by the students who wishes to pursue their careers in Medical field. Formerly NEET Exams were known as AIPMT also known as All India Pre-Medical Test. As said by many, NEET Exams are one of the toughest exams amongst other entrance exams.

HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal in his live webinar has announced that NEET 2020 exam would be conducted on July 26, 2020

It is known to be toughest of all other entrance exams because of its subjects. There are three subjects in NEET Exams which are:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology

Physics being the hardest to score marks in.

NEET Exams used to appear once a year in earlier years. Recently in 2019, it is said that NEET Exams will occur twice a year in the months of February and April. Students can appear for both the exams, and the best of two will be considered during the times of admission.

The minimum percentage required to crack NEET for general category is 50% and for the other OBC/SC/ST Category is around 40 to 45%. There is no specific limit of attempting the NEET Exams. Students can appear for exams as per their choice.

Talking about 2019 and 2020 NEET Exams, the NEET exam dates for the exams were originally decided for 03rd May 2020. But, as we all know, due to break out of Covid-19, the dates have been postponed. The revised dates are not yet announced.

The forms for application started – 02nd December 2019

Last Date to fill in the application Form – 06th January 2020

Last Date to submit the registration fees – 06th January 2020

Time given for correction in forms – 15th January 2020 – 31st January 2020

Extended time given for correcting the forms – 13th March 2020 – 19th March 2020

Extended time given for correcting the forms – 01st April 2020 – 14th April 2020

NEET Exam 2020 starting date – 03rd May 2020

Provisional Answer Key or Answer Sheets will publish – 4th Week of May 2020

NEET Exam 2020 Results – 4th June 2020

These expected original dates are postponed until further notice because of the tremendous outbreak of Covid-19 also known as Corona Virus shortly. The new revised dates have not been decided or published yet. We will notify you further when published.

NEET 2020 Exam Related Dates and Information

NEET Application – The application form for the NEET Exam 2020 have been published online only. It has to be filled up by the candidates and to be submitted online within the deadline along with the registration fees.

NEET Correction – The NEET Correction Window has been opened by the NTA for the candidates who have made a mistake while filling up the form. They can edit their applications. It will be open until 14th April 2020.

NEET Admit Card – The NEET Admit Card is the hall ticket which will allow you to appear for NEET Examinations. It was supposed to be distributed on 27th March 2020, but is postponed until further notice.

NEET Exam 2020 – The NEET Exams were supposed to begin on 03rd May 2020, but is postponed until further notice. NEET 2020 exam would be conducted on July 26, 2020

NEET Answer Key – The NEET Answer Key was supposed to be published on 1st or 2nd June 2020, but is postponed.

NEET Results – The NEET Results were supposed to be published on 4th June 2020, but is postponed until further notice.
