Modi Govt to bounce ‘Pass-Fail’ policy, Law ministry uphold
The Modi Government backtracked the policy of ‘Pass-Fail’ as from VI standard. The HRD Ministry has sanctioned this proposal along with the ‘No Detention Policy’. For amendments in the law of Right to Education, the law and order ministry uphold the note sent by HRD ministry. Furthermore has advised to frame a Draft Bill. Presently, there is an ordinance to not to fail any student upto VIII standard, under section 16 of RTI. 4 years back, HRD ministry formed ‘No Detention Policy’. HRD said that this decision has been taken for the sake of those students who lack scoring marks and consequently very often they either left school or dismay. Making a child tutor in the same class again can be more like demotivating him. Thereafter; good few states demand to eliminate this policy. Ranji Trophy 2016-17: Jasprit Bumrah’s four wickets keep Gujarat ahead against Odisha

This is beginning of the end of corrupt: PM Modi defends demonetization move
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday strongly defended the government’s demonetization move as a war against corrupt people in India that would continue till its victory with the support of the 125 crore people of the country. Addressing a rally at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, Modi said while his government has launched the war from day one of assuming power, on November 8 at 8 pm it stuck a kill blow to corruption and black money hoarders in the form of demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes.
