Entire course fee for MBBS in private colleges touching the height

The entire course fee for MBBS in SRM Medical College in Tamil Nadu has been increased to Rs 94.5 lakh from Rs 45 lakh. Among constant  hurdles in the kingdom of medical studies in India, the rocketed hiked tuition fees in the private medical colleges has eliminate the dream of several medical aspirants across the country while the tuition fees in the government colleges remain unchanged. On top of the considerable fees hike, students had to spend heavy amount on books, accommodation, and miscellaneous. The annual tuition fee at Kathihar Medical College in Bihar has been increased to Rs 12.5 lakh from Rs 8 lakh. The tuition fees in the management quota at Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, have been increased to Rs 18 lakh from Rs 15 lakh. Tuition fees at Dr D Y Patil Medical College in Mumbai have increased to Rs 76.2 lakh for the entire MBBS course.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will skip the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit in Islamabad in Pakistan

Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday announced that in wake of the exhausted relations with Pakistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will skip the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit in Islamabad in November.“In the succeeding  circumstances, the Government of India is unable to participate in the advance  Summit in Islamabad,” said MEA in a statement.MEA said that the SAARC Chair Nepal that “the increasing cross-border terrorist attacks in the region and growing involvement  in internal affairs of Member States by one country” has created an environment that’s not strength to holding the summit successfully, adding that, “India remains faithful  in commitment to regional cooperation,connectivity but believes that it can only go fwd in atmosphere free of terror.”

The news of veteran batsman Gautam Gambhir’s recall on Tuesday to the Indian Test side took cricket fans by quite a surprise. According to reports, the Delhi captain face a fitness test and is likely to take KL Rahul’s place in the body  for the 2nd Test at Eden Gardens.Gambhir was in brilliant  form during the recently concluded Duleep Trophy and has rightly earned his call-up.Coach Anil Kumble had stated earlier that his aim was to monitor not just team players but also those on the second job.It was earlier reported that Kumble even met Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh during the Duleep Trophy, asking them to be mentally prepared to represent India again.In a sport like cricket however, a coach cannot onesided  take such important decisions. It is only after discussing the captain can he go ahead and take big calls.
