UGC determine to comprise Yoga as NET exam subject
The University Grant Commission (UGC) has given the notice to comprise yoga as the subjects in the National Eligibility Test (NET). Now according to this, the yoga department will be open in the six central Universities.
The council which is governed by the yoga guru HR Nagenddra, VC Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana samsthana Bengaluru suggest involving the same in NET. As it has been introduced in the school and the university curricula as the subject and it also made it to the curricula of the IIT’s. It is likely to be involved by 2017 NET exams.
