Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Limited (BSPHCL) is a state-owned electricity regulation board with its headquarters in Patna, Bihar. This article provides information about the qualifications, eligibility, and exam syllabus for the post of Accounts Officer. The application form is available on the official site www.basophil.bih.nic.in along with details about exam dates, deadlines, and reservation criteria. To appear for this exam candidates should have completed the CMA course from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Candidates appearing for the final exam are not allowed to apply. The age limit for applying for General class is 37, for SC and ST – 42 years and for women- 40 years.

Candidates will be shortlisted depending on the marks acquired in the computer-based test (CBT). A merit list will be prepared and selected candidates will be called for document verification.If the number of candidates is very large, a preliminary test may be conducted and shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the main exam.
