Brittney Griner: Was She Born A Man Or A Woman? Transgender Rumors

Brittney Griner has always identified as a woman since her birth. She is the daughter of Sandra and Raymond Griner. Griner was her mother’s maiden name. She does not consider herself a man or a transgender person. She instead identifies as a lesbian.

Brittney came out of the closet and revealed her sexual orientation to the general public for the first time in an interview on February 11, 2013. For much of her life, the woman has been the target of harassment because of her sexual orientation.

Her parents were completely taken aback when she revealed her true identity in 2013, which exacerbated tensions between her and her father. In 2015, she finally gained the courage to tell her father the truth.

Despite the fact that her father did not welcome her with open arms, Brittney dispelled the most significant misconception about her life. She is not a transsexual simply because she has a different personality than other women.

She began changing quickly in high school, and before long, she had grown to an abnormally tall height in comparison to the other girls her age. Not only that, but she was far more powerful and tenacious than the average girl is led to believe. Griner received a lot of flak for her appearance starting in high school.

Furthermore, she plays basketball while appearing masculine and dressed like a man. She claims that the only time she wore women’s clothing was at her mother’s insistence, and that the experience was so unsettling that she vowed to herself that she would “never again” wear one.
