Her birthday is May 25. Claire is also famous for her career as an American tennis player.

She rose to prominence as a tennis player after claiming her first professional singles title at the age of just 14 at a $10,000 USTA Pro Circuit event. She has also competed in a number of other big tournaments, such as the French Open and the United States Open, amongst others.

The United States of America is where Claire was born. In 2016, she accomplished the feat of becoming the youngest woman since Anna Kournikova in 1996 to win a USTA Pro Circuit tournament.

Both of Claire Liu’s parents, Longbin and Wen, have degrees in biochemistry and are natives of Thousand Oaks, California.

Wen is a trained biochemist who works in the field. She was born and reared in a Chinese city close to Shanghai. Wen, in contrast to Claire, had never been to Wingleton and had no prior experience with tennis courts.

However, in the past she has been known to steal a tennis racket from her roommate and utilize it in her games.

She is a mother who takes great pride in her daughter Claire and who is always there for her. She is also quite knowledgeable about Wimbleton.

Although schooling is more important to Claire’s mother and father, they encourage and support their daughter in her pursuit of a future as a tennis player.

Longbin Liu, Claire’s father, is currently a director at CHDI Foundation, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company that has been established in New York City since August of 2017.

Longbin is driven by a strong desire to alleviate human suffering through the development of new medications. Additionally, he has a great deal of expertise working as a lead scientist for Amgen Inc. for a period of twenty years.

In addition to that, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University in New York for a period of three years.

In a similar fashion, he spent the two years between September 1991 and September 1993 working at the University of Virginia in the capacity of a Postdoctoral Associate.

Longbin received his education from Northwest University in the Chinese city of Xi’an. At China’s Northwest University, where he studied analytical chemistry for four years, he earned the degree of Bachelor of Science.

In addition to this, he received his higher education from Columbia University in New York, where he earned a doctorate in organic chemistry.

Despite the fact that Claire Liu spent her whole life in the United States, both of her parents were born in China. On May 25, 2000, Claire Liu entered the world in the city of Thousand Oaks, California.

  • In 2016, Liu and fellow American Usue Arconada won the Junior Wimbledon Doubles Championship. They did so by defeating Mariam Bolkvadze and Caty McNally in the championship match, which was played in straight sets.
  • After losing to Whitney Osuigwe in the final of the Junior French Open, she came back the following year to win the Wimbledon singles title against Ann Li.
  • This victory made her the first American girl to win Wimbledon since Chanda Rubin in 1992. Following her victory at the Grand Slam tournament, Liu ascended to the top spot in the junior girls’ rankings around the world.
  • In March of 2015, she competed in a tournament on Orlando’s clay courts that was part of the ITF Women’s Circuit and won her maiden championship at a professional level.
  • Liu won a professional tennis tournament when she was only 14 years old, making her the youngest player to do so since Anna Kournikova in 1996.
  • Liu was given a wildcard to participate in the qualifying round for the 2015 US Open, which was her first major tournament.
  • In her first two matches, she was victorious over Verónica Cepede Royg and the ninth seed Jana epelová; however, in the last round, she was defeated by the 26th seed Alexandra Panova.

  • In addition, Liu and Taylor Fritz were given a wildcard for the mixed-doubles competition; however, they were eliminated in the first round by the fourth seeds, Martina Hingis and Leander Paes, who went on to win the tournament.
  • Liu was given another wildcard entry into the US Open qualifying competition after he won two ITF tournaments in 2017. This year’s US Open is being held in New York.
  • She qualified for the singles main draw of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time by winning all three of the matches she played in the qualifying tournament.
  • This earned her a spot in the competition. At that event, she was eliminated in the first round by Duan Yingying, who won both of her sets in straight sets.
  • Liu and Taylor Johnson were competing in their first Grand Slam event together when they were eliminated in the first round of the doubles competition at the US Open.
