Clint’s parents did everything they could when they married to make their children’s aspirations come true. Debbie and Aubrey made many sacrifices for their children, including going without new clothes, going into debt, and cancelling trips. To make ends meet, his father sold his boat and a few guns. Nonetheless, they made certain that their children were doing what they enjoyed.

Aubrey, his father, did a little bit of everything after graduating with a degree in engineering. He could fix numerous things on his own without needing to seek for assistance.

Aubrey worked as a carpenter for the Southern Pacific Railway and also specialised on home construction. He also resembled Nacogdoches, the captain of his son’s high school football team.

He was also a very supportive father from the start. While his sons Ryan and Clint were playing for Dallas’ best youth club Longhorns, dad would take them on a long journey to the practise field.

The senior Dempsey would pack his children into the car and make the six-hour round drive two to three times a week, and he frequently slept during the former athlete’s training sessions in order to stay awake while driving back home. Furthermore, the effort he spent on them paid off because they both had great jobs.

Although the former athlete’s mother has kept a low profile, Clint has always credited her as his support and rock. She has her own Instagram accounts, @debbienac and @debbienac5.
