Ike Reese: Biography
Ike Reese is a well-known sports radio broadcaster in the United States and a former linebacker in American football.
After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in football, he was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fifth round of the 1998 NFL Draft.
After playing with the Philadelphia Eagles for seven years, during which time he was selected for the Pro Bowl following the team’s run to the NFC championship in 2004, Reese moved on to the Atlanta Falcons for the 2005 and 2006 seasons.
The year 2008 marked the beginning of Reese’s broadcasting career with the Philadelphia sports station WIP.
Ike Reese: Married Life With Wife Renee Reese
On February 16, 2002, Ike Reese and Renita Underwood tied the knot in the state of New Jersey. Elijah, who was born on July 8, 2003, and Jada round out their family as their offspring (born on November 26, 2005).
After he tested positive for COVID-19, Ike Reese hosted his radio show in South Jersey, which is also where the family had their primary residence.
Both Elijah and Jada are athletes, and both graduated from Kingsway High School where they attended together.
Elijah followed in his father’s footsteps by playing football and also tried his hand at track. It is not known whether or not Jada competed in competitive gymnastics throughout her time as a gymnast.

According to her LinkedIn profile, she earned her Master of Arts in Education from Pepperdine University.
Mrs. Reese just changed her status on Facebook to reflect that she will be leaving her position as a teacher in the Camden City School District in June of 2020. Between the months of September 2013 and November 2017, she was also employed as a substitute teacher at East Green.
When Renee first started out in her teaching profession, she worked for the City of Vineland Board of Education School District as a teacher in the resource room from August 2001 to June 2002.
Ike’s spouse is similarly interested in fashion and has worked as a fashion consultant for Jada Renee Style from 2006 to 2017. She has over a decade of expertise in the fashion industry.
Additionally, between the years 2013 and 2014, she worked as the Contracted Fashion Stylist and Model Coordinator for G-III Apparel Group and the Philadelphia Eagles.

After graduating as a freshman from Woodward High School in Cincinnati, Reese went on to complete his secondary education at Aiken High School and received his diploma in 1993.

- In the fifth round of the 1998 National Football League Draft, Reese was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles. Between the years 1998 and 2004, he was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles football club.
- In 2004, he was chosen to participate on the special teams of the National Football Conference for the Pro Bowl.
- During his stint with the Eagles, he racked up 198 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and two interceptions on the team’s stat sheet.
- Before the start of the 2005 season, Reese signed a contract with the Atlanta Falcons. He played with the Falcons for two years and recorded 44 tackles during that time.
- On March 2, 2007, the Falcons waived him off of their roster.
- Reese began his role as host of the evening show “Ike at Night” on 610 WIP Sportsradio in Philadelphia in the year 2008. In 2009, Ike Reese joined Howard Eskin as a co-host on the Afternoons with Howard Eskin & Ike Reese Show, which aired weekdays from 3 to 7 p.m. ET on KYW-TV and WPSG-TV in Philadelphia.
- Reese also took over the role of Saturday night sports anchor for the two stations. In 2011, Ike joined forces with Michael Barkann to co-host the Midday show on the new 94 WIP under the name Mike and Ike.
- The show aired from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Alongside Jon Marks, he currently hosts the Marks and Reese show on WIP, which can be watched from two in the afternoon until six in the evening.
