About Indo-Tibetan Border Police
The ITBP Force India is a border security and anti-Naxal force. ITBP Force India is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces in India under the direct control of the Home Ministry, Government of India.
It was raised on 24 October 1962 by an executive order to protect Indian interests along its northern borders during the Sino-Indian War of 1962. ITBP Force India has been known to be one of India’s best and highly disciplined Central Armed Police Forces, along with other countries participating in Rio Olympics 2016.

Note: Candidates must note that the ITBP SI exam pattern is the same as constable expect for the fact that the topics will be advanced level.

- Based on trade tests and written examinations, the ultimate list and results will be determined.
- The marks obtained by a student in the written test will have a 60% weighting, while those from the Trade Test will have a 40% weighting when calculating combined marks.
- If passed candidates fail to submit their asked documents, their candidature will be cancelled.
