Jacob Markstrom, an NHL player, is married to Amanda stervall, and the couple is expecting their first child shortly. Markstrom announced the news of their pregnancy on Twitter.

Following the couple’s official relationship announcement in February 2022, they were frequently seen together at various NHL events.

Meanwhile, Jacob, along with Columbus Blue Jackets left wing Patrik Laine and Toronto Maple Leafs right wing Mitchell Marner, was named one of the NHL’s “Three Stars” in February.

Amanda, who was at the Crypto Arena with her husband, Jacob, also attended the Saturday night event in Los Angeles on February 7.

Amanda Östervall: Jacob Markstrom Wife Is An Artist

Amanda stervall is a Ceramist, although her role as the wife of Calgary Flames goaltender Jacob Markstrom is more renowned. They’ve been together for about a year and are really happy together.

Amanda frequently shares art pieces of diverse types and abilities on Instagram, demonstrating her capabilities as a ceramist. Similarly, she is well-known, with over 4K followers on Instagram under the account @amandaostervall.

stervall is a fashion icon, as she frequently flaunts her sparkling ensembles on her social media accounts. She published a photo of her handmade cups on October 12, 2022, and reminded her fans that they would be able to purchase her ceramics later that year.

Jacob And Amanda Are Expecting A Baby Boy

Calgary Flames goalkeeper Jacob and his wife, Amanda stervall, have revealed that they will have their first child on September 5, 2022.

They appear to be quite pleased about their new journey as parents, and their boy will definitely brighten their lives. The couple also staged a gorgeous photoshoot in matching clothing, with Jacob shown in one of the shots kissing his wife’s expanding baby bump.

Jacob remarked on Instagram after posting the photos that he hoped his son would inherit his mother’s beauty (Amanda). He joked that the infant would inherit his father’s capacity to sleep.

In a similar post, an ecstatic Amanda wrote, “Baby boy, you are already so adored,” while the comment area was flooded with heartfelt sentiments from their fans.

Former and current teammates of Markstrom, including Vancouver’s Elias Pettersson and Calgary’s Tyler Toffoli, Oliver Kylington, and Dan Vladar, congratulated the pair.

Relationship Timeline of Jacob Markstrom and Amanda stervall

Jacob Markstrom, an ice hockey player, is rumored to be dating Amanda stervall since February. In November 2022, their relationship will have been 10 months.

Amanda captioned Jacob’s photo and posted it on February 1st, implying that they were in a relationship. On February 6, Jacob posted a wonderful photo of himself with his girlfriend with a heart emoji in the description.

On February 7, the two were spotted together in the Crypto.com arena during a Saturday night tournament in Los Angeles. However, the pair has not yet revealed their love story or how they first met. Despite this, Amanda appears to be supportive of Markstrom’s playing career.

She frequently attends NHL games to cheer on her boyfriend. In March, she shared a photo of herself wearing a Flames jersey at Scotiabank Saddledome during a playoff game.

The couple’s family of two is about to grow because they are expecting their first child. Jacob and Amanda’s undying love was evident in each of their Instagram photos. They are both supportive of one another’s professional endeavors.

Jacob is 32 years old and was born on January 31, 1990 to Swedish parents. According to Jacob’s message, his wife celebrates her birthday every year on August 20th, and they may be 2 to 4 years apart in age.

On July 17, the couple attended the wedding of their friends Sanna and Calle in Djupvik, Gotland County, Sweden.

Later, on October 31, 2022, the pair dressed up for a party in Calgary, Alberta, and flaunted their artificial wigs. Their supporters joked in the comments section that Jacob should wear that hairstyle forever.

Playing career

On May 12, 2008, Markström signed a two-year contract with the senior club of Brynäs IF. He had previously played for Brynäs IF’s junior team. The Florida Panthers selected him 31st overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, after good performances in the Elitserien and internationally for Sweden in the Under 18 and World Junior tournaments.

Jacob Markström led the Elitserien in save percentage (SVS%) and goals against average (GAA) in 2009-10, with 92.72% and 2.01 points, respectively.

International Career

Markström has competed in three junior tournaments for Sweden. In 2008, he led the Swedes to fourth place in the IIHF World U18 Championships. The next year, he was named to Sweden’s World Junior team, where he topped all goalies with a 94.6% save percentage and ended second with a 1.61 GAA.

Because of his amazing stats, he was named Best Goaltender in 2009, and his team also won the silver medal. He returned to the World Junior Championships in 2010 but was unable to duplicate his previous year’s performance, as Sweden took bronze.

Markström did, however, score a decent 92.72% save percentage and a 2.21 GAA, excellent for second place among goalies in the famous competition.
