Kaila Novak was a member of Canada’s national team at the 2018 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, where they took bronze. The following year, she was chosen to represent her country at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay, where her team finished fourth. Novak finished her U-17 career with 11 appearances and two goals. She was then chosen to play for Canada’s U-20 team. Also, she went on to become one of the most important parts of Canada’s women’s U-20 squad in the 2020 CONCACAF U-20 Championship, starting three of Canada’s four games.
