Michelle Jonas: Who Is She?

Christian Slater Was Arrested For His Drug Addiction And Assaults
Christian Slater, an actor known for his roles in films such as Broken Arrow, Interview with the Vampire, and Kevin Costner’s Robin Hood – Prince of Thieves, was yesterday given a prison sentence of three months for assaulting both his girlfriend and a police officer while under the influence of cocaine.2
Slater’s actions occurred while he was under the influence of the drug.
Slater, age 29, was taken into custody in August after police in Los Angeles were summoned to a scuffle that occurred at a late-night party. Slater was discovered by the authorities flailing his arms and yelling incoherently, as reported by the officers.
After another man intervened and tried to stop him from punching his girlfriend, Michelle Jonas, he became embroiled in a fight with the other man.
He then confessed to the police that he had been using heroin and cocaine, in addition to drinking for “a couple days” while getting “just a couple hours” of sleep each night.
Protective orders were granted for both Michelle Jonas and Julio Flores, the police officer whom Slater kicked down a flight of stairs after responding to the emergency call. The orders were issued by a judge in a court in Los Angeles.
After serving his time, Slater will then enter a residential drug treatment program for a period of three months.
According to Ted Goldstein, a spokeswoman for the city attorney, the actor has until January 10th to begin serving his sentence and must also enroll in a batterers’ treatment program that lasts for an entire year.

Christian Slater: Jail Routine Revealed
In January of 1998, Christian Slater reported to jail to begin serving the first of his three-month term. In order for him to be able to watch the premiere of his picture “Hard Rain,” he was granted permission to have the beginning of his sentence postponed.
Slater admitted that he will be serving time in prison at the Hollywood event and added, “We all do go through hard periods and it’s a matter of… how you take responsibility and open your eyes to all of the good stuff that you’ve been shutting out.”
According to United Press International, he was a trustee and as such was expected to perform menial jobs all across the facility.
