The youngster, who naturally became fairly bored during the game, sprang for excitement when Jessica and Tye invited her to catch fireflies with them in the parking lot.

Colleen always kept a careful eye on the kids, but since the youngsters assured they wouldn’t be going far, she let Morgan go with her pals.

During the game, though, she was briefly preoccupied, and when she finally looked up, Jessica and Tye were headed towards the stands with no sign of her daughter.

Morgan was emptying her shoes behind Colleen’s car when a strange man started talking to her, according to Jessica and Tye when they were questioned about the incident.

Nevertheless, this lead was never pursued in 1995, and because the suspect died in 2000, the FBI was unable to determine whether he was connected to the abduction of Morgan Nick.
