The Raiders won Super Bowl XVIII later that year. Jordan appeared in 56 games for the Raiders in four seasons, starting five of them. Jordan was placed on the injured reserve list by the Raiders prior to the 1987 NFL strike for crossing the picket line. Jordan co-founded and operated a Los Angeles-based nonprofit business that provided inexpensive urban housing with his wife, Donzella. Jordan passed away on September 9, 2022.
