Professional Career at Hajduk Split
Breaking into Hajduk Split’s senior team at a young age was not easy. Croatian football is competitive and young players must earn every opportunity. Vlašić did exactly that.
He quickly became one of Hajduk’s most exciting attacking players. Whether scoring goals or creating chances, he always looked dangerous whenever he received the ball. His performances in the Croatian league attracted scouts from several major European clubs.

Move to Everton

During his time in Russia, Vlašić regularly scored in league matches and European competitions. He developed into one of the Russian Premier League’s best attacking midfielders.
His excellent performances also helped him become an important player for Croatia. Playing regularly gave him confidence and improved every part of his game, including his finishing, passing and decision making.
