Pierre Zakrzewski was killed along with a colleague from Ukraine.

The congregation at an Irish journalist’s funeral mass was told that he paid “a terrible price” for his love of “truth telling” because their Fox News team came under fire near Kyiv.

In the beginning of this month, gunfire claimed the lives of Pierre Zakrzewski, 55, a cameraman, and Oleksandra “Sasha” Kuvshynova, 24, in Horenka, which is located on the north-western outskirts of the Ukrainian capital.

Pierre Zakrzewski: Wife Michelle And Family Details

As a result of the high-profile journalist’s death in Ukraine, the topic of Pierre Zakrzewski’s wife has been thrust into the spotlight.1

During these trying times, those working in the field of journalism as well as those working in any other profession should express their heartfelt condolences to Pierre Zakrzewski’s wife as well as the rest of his family.

Before Pierre’s wife’s passing, the couple had been married for a significant amount of time and had two children together.

Since that time, the courageous Michelle has been doing everything in her power to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the death of her husband and to ensure that justice is served.

An investigation into the deaths of Mr. Zakrzewski and his coworker Sasha Kuvshynova is currently being carried out by three different organizations: a homicide investigation team from Ireland, the Ukrainian Police, and a war crimes tribunal from France.

Their combined efforts are concentrated on determining the circumstances surrounding the event that led to the deaths of the two people.

Sister And Wife Are Still Looking For Answers

Both Mr. Zakrzewski’s wife, Michelle Ross-Stanton, and his sister, Karola Zakrzewska, have made it abundantly clear that they are unwavering in their conviction that their loved ones were the targets of a violent crime.

The collaboration between the investigative teams may, in the best case scenario, provide the family and friends of the deceased with clarity and answers to their questions.

The rest of the family has also expressed their outrage over the apparent wrongdoing that was committed against them, and they are demanding an accountable explanation from someone.

After Zakrzewski’s passing, Suzanne Scott, the CEO of Fox News Media, sent a memo to the Company’s employees, stating that he worked as a war photographer for Fox and covered conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria. Scott also mentioned that Zakrzewski was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Pierre Zakrzewski Death Investigation

An investigation into Mr. Zakrzewski’s murder in Ireland, an investigation into the attack that led to Mr. Zakrzewski’s and his colleague Sasha Kuvshynova’s deaths in Ukraine, and an investigation into the attack by a war crimes tribunal in France are currently working together to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack that led to Mr. Zakrzewski’s death.2

It was insisted by both his wife Michelle Ross-Stanton and his sister Karola Zakrzewska that both of them had been “murdered.”

“This will take years,” Karola explained, “and we don’t know what the results will be.”

“This is not a typical passing, and it is not something that, after a year has passed, we will be able to put behind us and move on with our lives. Because of the war crimes tribunal and the ongoing investigation into what took place, this is something that will most certainly continue in regard to the group.

Michelle continued by saying, “I personally would love to know… which Russian units were working in that area… maybe the war crimes tribunal can prosecute the generals if they are still alive.” For me, it’s about getting all of the pieces of the puzzle together and figuring out the bigger picture. I want to know everything, and I especially want to know the specifics of what took place.”

When asked about going back home, Pierre insisted, “I have to stay, I have to tell people what’s happening here and the atrocities I’m seeing,” according to what they reported to the Irish Independent newspaper.
