Exam Pattern for SBI SO Specialist Officer Exam
Candidates should be aware of three stages of SBI PO exam. Only qualified candidates are allowed for each next step of the selection process. The three stages to this exam are:-
- Preliminary Test
- Mains
- Interview and Group Discussion
Phase 1: Preliminary Exam:-
- The time limit is 60 minutes.
- Every right response will get you 1 mark and every wrong response will cut ¼ marks.
- Total marks are 100.
Phase 2: Mains
This is divided into two sections: Objective type and subjective type.
The objective will have 155 question with total marks 200 and with time duration of 3 hours.
The subjective or Descriptive section is 30 minutes and total marks will be 50. This is a test of English Language (Essay and Letter Writing).
Phase 3: Group discussion and Interview
Students clearing Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be called for Group discussion and Interview test. Where Group discussion will carry 20 marks and Interview test contains 30 marks.
