This week, police took a Texas couple into custody after they found the body of an 8-month-old baby in their home.
The Odessa Police Department’s arrest report said that the boy’s face and head on the left side were badly bruised and swollen. This was a horrible thing to say.
Investigators say that there were also a few small wounds around the top of the dead baby’s head.
In a similar way, the officers found what looked like dog poop on the floor of the couple’s apartment.
Before the police showed up, the couple allegedly tried to get rid of some of the mess.
Kameron Gammage says that the baby hurt himself when he hit his head on a hard part of the crib’s interior.

Kameron Gammage, who is 23 years old, was arrested on July 12 after his 8-month-old son Logan Pierson was found dead with swelling and bruises on his face.
Tuesday, when the parents saw that their child wasn’t breathing, they called 911. An affidavit says that the baby was already dead when help arrived.
Gammage told police on July 9 that he had used marijuana and then tried to play with his crying child to make him stop crying.
He said that he had thrown Logan into the air many times before “accidentally” dropping him on the fourth throw.
18 Years Old Mother Leila Pierson Charged With Ignoring Medical Help For The Kids
The baby’s mother, Leyla Pierson, has also been charged with the baby’s death. She faces one count of criminal negligence causing harm to a child.
Pierson told the police that she saw the injuries on July 9, but she didn’t take the child to the hospital.
She said that Gammage told her that the baby hit his head on the crib and that was the end of it.
Leyla said that after what happened on July 9, the baby was “more irritable than the average baby,” which she thought was because it was teething.
In an interview on Wednesday, Logan’s aunt Brittany Pruitt said she was shocked by the sudden death of her nephew.
The child’s mother, Pierson, paid a $5,000 bond, but Gammage is still being held in Ector County Jail on charges of hurting a child. The judge has set his bail at $350,000.

Leyla Pierson, who is 18 years old, told the police in a signed statement that she found the baby was not breathing.
And rushed “frantically” to Gammage to wake him up and tell him about the baby, but he didn’t seem to care. When Gammage asked what he should do, Pierson said in the affidavit that she told him to call 911.
He is said to have apologized and told her he hoped she wasn’t mad at him. Pierson said that Gammage has “severe anger issues” and that he has recently strangled several dogs.
According to the affidavit, Gammage later admitted that he had anger problems. He told investigators that he had been under a lot of stress lately, including the baby’s cries.
How did Logan Pierson, who was only 8 months old, pass away? Here’s what went down
Gammage told the police that Logan wouldn’t stop crying and that he tried to play with him by throwing him in the air and catching him.
According to the affidavit, he got angry when Logan wouldn’t stop crying, and after the fourth toss, he “accidentally” dropped the baby.
Pierson told police that she and her boyfriend didn’t get the bruises checked out, and that the baby got “fussy” over the next two days.
Gammage was taken into custody and is now being charged with murder and other charges from a different incident.
In the same way, Pierson went to jail because he knew the boy was hurt but didn’t get him medical help.
