T. J. Houshmandzadeh is a former American football wide receiver who was picked in the seventh round by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2001.

TJ Houshmandzadeh and his wife, Kaci Houshmandzadeh, met at college in 1999.

The former NFL player addressed their 18-year relationship in an Instagram post.

TJ stated in an additional Instagram post that Kaci has always been a loving and selfless mother to their children. TJ and Kaci were in the Bahamas with their children on July 20, 2022, and they had a terrific time together.

TJ and Kaci purchased a $3.458 million home in August 2007 to offer a joyful environment for their children.

The house is 4,798 square feet and includes living and dining rooms, a family room, a chef’s kitchen, a game room, a custom basketball court, a cabana, an infinity pool and spa, and a waterfall feature.

The couple is selling their Newport Coast home for $4.1 million, according to the Orange County Register. On February 16, 2007, the pair attended a party for Jordan Brand’s debut of the Air Jordan shoe at the MGM Grand Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Houshmandzadeh was born in the United States to an Iranian-American father and an African-American mother.

His surname was frequently abbreviated as “Housh” or “Hoosh” by enthusiasts.

Houshmandzadeh’s surname was used in a popular fantasy football television advertisement from 2006, in which a fantasy player failed to pronounce his surname, fumbling over terms like “Houshamazilla”, “Houshmazode”, “Houshvadilla” and “Houshyomama”.

On August 28, that season, former teammate Chad Ochocinco addressed him on television as “T. J. Who’s-your-momma” during an ESPN Monday Night preseason game. That year, Houshmandzadeh had a breakout season.

Houshmandzadeh’s 2006 season was later referenced in a similar fantasy football commercial with the “Karaoke Draft of ’06” in 2011, with a fantasy football fan singing Houshmandzadeh’s name to the tune of the 1977 hit song Barracuda by Heart.

TJ Houshmandzadeh: Where Is He Now?

T.J. Houshmandzadeh spent a year with the Baltimore Ravens and a year with the Oakland Raiders. Houshmandzadeh called it quits after the 2011 season, knowing that his finest days were behind him.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh retired with 627 catches, 7,237 yards, and 44 touchdowns despite being a seventh-round pick, as well as a $40 million contract. Those are impressive figures for someone who almost went undrafted.

TJ and Kaci are the parents of four children, three daughters and one son.

When his children were little, the football player coached them all. They are now prepared to follow in their father’s footsteps.

Karrington is the Houshmandzadeh couple’s firstborn child. She is 22 years old and was born on August 2, 2000.

She attended Los Alamitos High School and will graduate from Louisiana State University on December 17, 2022. She shared photos of her graduation on Instagram.

Her academic future plans include a major in physical therapy. Karrington was a standout athlete at LSU.

Kennedi was born in Cerritos, California on October 11, 2002. She is the Houshmandzadeh siblings’ second child. She and her older sister both played college softball at Louisiana State University. She was an infielder for the junior team.

She, like her sister, attended Los Alamitos High School. According to her father’s Instagram post, she is an innovative, compassionate, and attractive girl who prioritizes how other people feel. Her parents regard her as one of their greatest blessings.

Kambri is the Houshmandzadeh family’s third child, born on November 22, 2011. In an Instagram post, her father promised her that she would always have her parents’ support in whatever she wanted to accomplish in life.

Her elder sisters and parents adore her as the youngest daughter.

Krew is the youngest of the Houshmandzadeh siblings and the couple’s only son. He was born on January 28, 2014, and is currently around the age of eight.

TJ Houshmandzadeh: Controversy

T.J. Houshmandzadeh, a former Cincinnati Bengals standout who played 11 seasons in the NFL, has launched a fraud complaint against two business colleagues.

According to TMZ Sports, Houshmandzadeh is suing Damien Marzett and John Wiegman for allegedly spending money in helping them open a marijuana store in Los Angeles.

Houshmandzadeh is suing for $380,000 in addition to other damages.

Per court documents acquired by TMZ, the former wide receiver fronted $200,000 in 2015 for Marzett and Wiegman to set up their business. The two parties apparently agreed to a contract outlining the terms of repayment, with the ex-NFL player owing $180,000 by December 2017.

Houshmandzadeh, 40, is said to have never seen a return on his investment and has opted to take the case to court. Marzett and Wiegman did not have a license to operate a marijuana store in California.

Houshmandzadeh, a seventh-round pick out of Oregon State in 2001, spent time with four different clubs throughout his 11-year NFL career.

He is best known for his eight-year stint in Cincinnati, when he was a key member of a dynamic passing attack that included Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson. He later played for the Seattle Seahawks, Baltimore Ravens, and Oakland Raiders.

  • Houshmandzadeh was selected 204th overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in the seventh round of the 2001 NFL Draft.
  • Houshmandzadeh had a mediocre first season, catching 21 passes for 228 yards and returning punts and kickoffs. His most memorable performance came against the Cleveland Browns, when he set a team record with 126 punt return yards.
  • Following the 2001 season, Houshmandzadeh slimmed down to his prime playing weight of around 200 pounds, which significantly improved his on-field effectiveness.
