Xochitl Dixon hurt her upper back in 1992 and has been in constant pain and tired ever since.

She has constant, sharp pain and muscle spasms in her upper back, shoulders, and neck, which give her headaches and make it hard for her to move. Dixon says that Callie helps her get around.

When she has a flare-up, Callie helps her keep her balance, picks up things that Dixon drops, and gives her pressure treatments and emotional support. She also helps Xochiti when she is giving speeches or working on writing projects.

Who Is Xochitl Dixon’s Husband?

Dr. W. Alan Dixon Sr. is the name of the author’s husband, Xochitl Dixon. This woman from Wisconsin and her husband, Alan, moved there in 2018 because God told them to.

Due to a back injury she got in 1992, Xochitl lives with constant pain and exhaustion every day. She loves going on walks with her service dog Callie, and she wants the Tails for Life team to train service dogs for kids with special needs.

She likes to sing, read, take pictures, talk to readers on www.xedixon.com, and spend time with her family and her two sons, AJ and Xavier.

Xochitl Dixon, who writes for the global devotional Our Daily Bread Ministries, wanted to write a book about a group of kids from different backgrounds working together with Callie, the guide dog, to make a fish kite.

In the category on Amazon called “Children’s Christian Social Issues,” this book has been at the top of the list of new books several times.

The book’s launch party was on July 25 at the ReachOut Bookstore and Solid Grounds Cafe at 221 N. Peters Ave. in Fond du Lac. More than 40 people came to the launch party to hear Dixon read from the book, take pictures with Callie, and order more than 75 copies of the book before it came out.
