Indian Post Office Gramin Dak Sevak Eligibility Criteria
- Should have a certificate of class 10th from a recognised board.
- One should have a minimum basic computer knowledge.
- The upper age limit for the GDS post is 40 years whereas the lower age limit is 18.
- Also, there is a relaxation in age provided for the applicants of categories such as SC and ST.
If you have studied computer in 10th standard and you have that on your class 10th certificate, you don’t need a Computer training institute certificate. But if you haven’t studied computer as a subject in class 10th, you will need to enrol in at least a 60-hour Computer Traning course and also present this certificate during the selection procedure and application.
If you have qualifications more than 10th standard, it will not get you extra marks in GDS selection procedure.
