She began working as the community relations intern at San Diego Chargers Football Company in June 2014. She was in charge of planning practise sessions, supporting youth football projects, organising neighborhood-focused activities, interacting with supporters, and facilitating philanthropic donations to nonprofit organisations.

Maegan served as a substitute teacher in the San Dieguito High School District from December 2012 to June 2016.
