About ESIC Recruitment 2022
The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is a Central-government organization which is headquartered in The ESIC Recruitment 2022 has announced 3882 vacancies for Upper Division Clerk, Multitasking staff, and stenographer posts. Eligibility Criteria for ESIC Recruitment
For UDC:
Education Qualification:
The candidate has a degree from a recognized University or equivalent with knowledge of Computer.
Age Limit:
18 to 27 years as of 15th February 2022.
For MTS:
Educational Qualification:
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized university & board.
Age Limit:
18 to 25 years as on 15th February 2022.
For Steno:
Education Qualification:
12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limit:
18 to 27 years as of 15th February 2022.
Skill Test:
Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute and Transcription: 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) (Only on computers).
Application Fee:
- 500/- for General and OBC Categories
- 250/- for SC/ST/PwD/other reserved categories.
Salary Details:
The salary structure for all the posts UDC, MTS, and Stenographer is given below. The salary structure for the eligible candidates will be as per the 7th CPC including the basic pay and allowances.
- UDC & Steno: Pay Level – 4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100)
- MTS: Pay Level – 1 (Rs. 18,000-56,900)
ESIC UDC & MTS Exam Pattern 2022
The ESIC Exam will be held in more than one phase for which, the ESIC Exam Pattern Upper Division Clerk & Multi-Tasking Staff is provided below. There is no skill test in the Multi-Tasking Staff recruitment process.
- The Preliminary test is of qualifying nature.
- The marks scored in Mains Exam will be the deciding factor for final selection.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- Both Phase-I and II exams have objective-type Questions.

Phase-2 Skill Test
The candidates qualifying for the Mains Exam will be called for the skill test which is qualifying in nature. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi (as opted by the candidates in the Online Application Form) at the speed of 80 words per minute.
