The same thing happened when he was an assistant coach at Seminole JC—he started in 2001 and left in 2002. Following that, he worked as a head coach for Sachse High School (2002-04), an assistant coach for Collin County Community College (2004-05), an assistant coach for Abilene Christian (2005-08), and an assistant coach for Arkansas-Little Rock (2008-11).
When his tenure at Arkansas-Little Rock ended in 2011, he was rehired as the head coach of his alma mater, Abilene Christian, to lead the Abilene Christian Wildcats men’s basketball team. He gladly accepted the offer and worked hard to give everything he had learned over the years.
