Kevin Weekes and his wife Megan Rokosh made their Instagram accounts public in 2019 and plan to marry in 2021. This holiday season, the Weekes couple is expecting a child.
Weekes, 47, is a studio commentator for NHL Network’s On The Fly, ESPN’s The Point, and NHL Tonight, as well as an ESPN/ABC affiliate.
Kevin is a former Canadian pro ice hockey goaltender who played 348 games in the National Hockey League. He was selected 41st overall by the Florida Panthers in the 1993 draught.
During his nearly two-decade professional career as a goaltender, he played for the New York Rangers, Carolina Hurricanes, Vancouver Canucks, New York Islanders, Tampa Bay Lightning, and New Jersey Devils, among others. He announced his retirement on September 27, 2009.

Megan has gained a wealth of experience throughout the course of her more than a decade-long profession. In October 2009, she began her professional career as the chief of creative services at Roger Media. She held the same position for nearly five years before being promoted to strategist.
Rokosh left the media company Rogers Media in November 2015 to join Havas. She was the Director of Communications for the corporation. She began working in August 2017 and quit in April 2019. As a result, she has been the global CMO of Havas Health & You since then.

Kevin and his girlfriend Megan announced their pregnancy on Instagram on October 13th. Both posted a brief video in which they appeared to be content with their baby bumps.
The message revealed that the new addition to the family is expected this Christmas season. Furthermore, the couple declared that they were blessed.
Weekes and Rokosh uploaded a short video three days ago in which they announced to their followers that they were expecting a boy. They’d both gone to the hospital for an ultrasound, and the doctor had revealed that it was a baby boy.
The sports analyst appeared to be prepared and certain it would be a son. So he made a jersey, and back at their house, it appeared that they had arranged a modest event with baby supplies and badges in blue with the words ‘it’s a boy.’

Weekes was married to Stephanie Weekes before he and Rokosh began dating. In 2002, she assisted him in furnishing his home.
In January 2007, Weekes married Stephanie, the CEO of Patrick Cassidy and Associates, a commercial design and office furniture firm based in Toronto.
The former athlete used to keep his love life private, but the Toronto Star published a short story about them in 2008. Stephanie and Kevin were still dating at the time, and he was a goalie for the New Jersey Devils.

He wore jersey number 80 because he wanted to wear jersey number 00. The NHL, on the other hand, forbids players from wearing single or double zero jerseys. Weekes chose the number that was closest to 00. He was given jersey number 1 when he signed with the New Jersey Devils, as a result of former general manager Lou Lamoriello’s policy of wearing jersey numbers 1-40 with the exception of elite players. Weekes wore number 00 in junior hockey with the Ottawa 67’s.
2009
On September 27, 2009, Weekes announced his retirement from the game.

2005
Weekes signed as a free agent with the New York Rangers before to the 2004-05 NHL lockout, making his debut on October 5, 2005, against the Philadelphia Flyers. His tenure with the Rangers seemed promising until he was sidelined by an injury and lost his number one job to Henrik Lundqvist. Lundqvist came on in place of Weekes and performed admirably.
Weekes remained upbeat upon his healthy return to the squad, despite being demoted to the number two role and back up to rookie Lundqvist.
Following a less-than-stellar 2006-07 season, he became an unrestricted free agent. He joined with the New Jersey Devils on July 5, 2007, as a backup to All-Star Martin Brodeur.
Brodeur experienced an injury in the 2008-09 season that kept him out for virtually the entire season. This left Weekes and Scott Clemmensen vying for first place. With the two at odds, Weekes found himself in the playoffs once more, this time falling to the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 7 of the quarterfinals.
2002
Weekes was purchased by the Carolina Hurricanes on March 5, 2002 in exchange for Chris Dingman and Shane Willis. He primarily functioned as Arturs Irbe’s backup for the remainder of the regular season, appearing in only two of the Hurricanes’ last seventeen games. Weekes was instrumental in the Hurricanes’ march to the 2002 Stanley Cup Finals during the playoffs.
He appeared in eight games during the 2002 playoffs, including a first-round game four loss to the New Jersey Devils and starts in games five and six of that series, which the Hurricanes won four games to two. Weekes also started the first three games in the second round against the Montreal Canadiens before being replaced by Irbe. Weekes had back-to-back shutouts in the playoffs, with a 32-save shutout in game six of the first round against the New Jersey Devils and a 25-save shutout in game one of the second round against the Montreal Canadiens.
He was the Hurricanes’ primary goalie in 2002-03, appearing in 51 games and compiling a 14-24-9 record, and was the Hurricanes’ primary goalie in 2003-04, appearing in 66 games and compiling a 23-30-11 record.

The Florida Panthers selected him 41st overall in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, and he joined the team for the 1997-98 season, going 0-5-1 in 11 appearances.
The next summer, he was transferred to the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for Pavel Bure, where he posted a 6-15-5 record in 31 games over a season and a half before being dealt to the New York Islanders midway through the 1999-2000 season. He was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning at the end of that season, where he remained until late in the 2001-02 season.
