Olivia Dune has an elder sister named Julianna Dune, and they both began their sports careers at a young age.

Julianna was born a year before Olivia to their adored parents, David and Katherine Dunne; they are 20 and 21 years old, respectively.

Olivia and Julianna are close friends who support and encourage one another in all of their life decisions. They have posted numerous photos on their social media accounts, @livvydunne and @julzdunne.

The brothers began using social media simultaneously; they both made their first post in 2012, and their initial captions are the cutest. Julz stated, “Thank you for following me!!! Olivia Dunne was born to Katherine and David Dunne on October 1, 2002, in New Jersey, United States. Hillsdale is where she grew up.

Julianna, her sister, is a softball player.

Dunne’s pals refer to her as “Livvy.” She began gymnastics at the age of three. She tried out for the gymnastics pre-team at her gym, ENA, two years later. Dunne then began competing in gymnastics.

Career

Olivia Dunne won the level 4 state championships and then broke the state record for all-around performance. Dunne was advanced from level 5 to level 8 in less than a year due to his persistence and swift performance.

Dunne participated at level 9 at the age of 9 and advanced to the regional championships. Dunne earned silver in a US Challenge qualification event the following year and participated at level 10.

Olivia Dunne finished among the top 20 in the floor event and among the top 33 in the all-around ranking at her debut elite championship at the U.S. Classic in 2014. She finished 35th on the bars, 36th on the vault, and 39th on the beam. She was unable to qualify for the National Championships.

Dunne finished in the top six competitors in the floor, all-around, and beam events at the American Classic, as well as among the top twenty in bars and vault. She went on to compete in her first National Championships.

Olivia Dunne became the country’s youngest athlete to qualify for a Junior International Elite in the 2013-2014 season. At the 2015 American Classic, she finished eighth in the all-around event and qualified for the 2015 P&G National Championships.

In the 2016 Bresteyn’s Elite Qualifier in Las Vegas, she won the floor event. Dunne attempted a new floor routine for the first time throughout the game. At the KPAC Elite Qualifier in North Carolina, she won the beam event.

She attended the USA Olympic Training Center in Texas for the National Team Camps. She represented the United States at the Jesolo Trophy tournament in Italy in March 2017. She was a member of the natural team that won gold in the City of Jesolo Trophy that year.

Dunne also took part in the American Classic, the United States Classic, and the National Championships. She was not, however, recalled to the national team.

She was awarded a full athletic scholarship to Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2017, with plans to attend in 2020.

Olivia Dunne made her senior debut in Jesolo, Italy, in 2018. She then made her debut at the US Classic. Her injuries prevented her from competing in all events except the uneven bars, where she finished 15th.

Dunne went on to compete in the all-around event at the National Championships. She took part in the 2018 US Classic. She signed a National Letter of Intent to attend LSU the following year.

Dunne won gold in the all-around event at The Atlanta Centennial Classic in Georgia, the Classic Rock Invitational in Arizona, and the Elevate the Stage competition in Ohio while competing at level 10.
