Green Economy Visionary Award
- R. Seetharaman, Group CEO of Doha Bank, received the ‘Green Economy Visionary award’ 2016 at the Union of Arab Banks International Banking Summit held in Rome on May 30, 2016.
- He got the award for his contribution in environment- friendly activities and for promoting green economy for nearly two decades.
- The Green Economy Awards, formerly known as the Green Business Awards, recognised excellence in environmental responsibility, reconfiguration of business models around sustainability principles, and the contribution of people in the environmental services industry. These are the UK’s most comprehensive awards.
