The death of rapper Takeoff, who was also a member of the group Migos alongside Quavo and Offset, has been confirmed.

Takeoff, whose true name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was gunned down in Houston at 2:30 in the morning at a bowling alley when he and Quavo were playing dice. At the scene, it was determined that Takeoff had passed away.

Although Quavo was not hurt in the shooting, two other guests were and had to be taken to the hospital. This morning, TMZ was the first to break the story, and a Houston-based publication confirmed it later.

Just a few hours before the event, Takeoff published a photo on his Instagram account showing him smoking at the bowling alley. A few hours before, Quavo had released a video of himself driving about Houston with Jas Prince, who was celebrating his birthday. In the clip, Quavo was seen congratulating Jas Prince on his accomplishment.

He held the record for being the youngest member of the group. Quavo was his uncle, and Offset was related to him as a cousin. In 2008, he joined forces with his uncle Quavo and his cousin Offset to form the rap group Polo Club and began releasing music under that name. Juug Season, the group’s first mixtape under the moniker Migos, was issued in the year 2011.

The year 2013 saw the release of Migos’s first song to achieve widespread popularity, titled “Versace.” The song had a significant role in bringing the triplet flow, which is a rapid-fire cadence that is signature to Migos, to the forefront of current rap music. The song would eventually receive a remix from Drake, a rapper from Toronto, and the three members of the trio would go on to collaborate often with one another.

Migos rose to prominence after the release of the single “Bad & Boujee” in 2016, which was produced by Lil Uzi Vert. Other singles from the band that have reached number one on the charts include “MotorSport,” which features Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, and “Walk It Talk It,” which features Drake.

Takeoff has one album under his own name as a solo artist (2018’s The Last Rocket, which debuted at No. 4 in the US), and he has one song under his name and Quavo’s together as a duet (only Built for Infinity Links, which was released last month).

Who Was Takeoff Migos Girlfriend Liyah Jade?

It was not widely known that Takeoff had a significant other at the time. He did not mention any of the girls in his life and did not make any relationship announcements on any of his social media accounts.

Takeoff and Liyah Jade were romantically involved at one point. There is no other information regarding the Takeoff rapper Liyah Jade that can be found online other than her identification.

The details of Liyah’s professional life are similarly kept hidden from the general public. In addition, we have no information about her parents or any of her other family members. Due to the fact that she has not divulged any information regarding it, her age is likewise unknown.

According to a number of urban legends, the rapper was once romantically involved with the vocalists Rubi Rose, Lakeya Darshay, and MC Dream Doll.

After being seen with international music queen Katy Perry, Takeoff rose to the forefront of public attention. It would appear that the rapper, who is typically quiet and reserved, connected well with Perry in 2017 while they were both attending a party.

According to MTO News, the suspected couple is said to have attended an after-party for “Saturday Night Live.” According to reports, all of this took place during the time when Perry and Migos were collaborating on the song “Bon Appetit.”

Sadly, none of them addressed the accusations that were circulating about their relationships; however, Takeoff used the opportunity to clarify his relationship status on his official Instagram account by stating that he was “single.” In June of 2017, the resident of Georgia posted a picture on their Instagram account with the comment “Loner.” However, he eventually deleted that post.

Celebrities such as Jake Paul, Adin Ross, Dave, Almighty Jay, and Cole Bennett were among those who sent poignant respects to him on their respective social media profiles not long after it was reported that he had passed away.

Music Career

Kirshnik Ball was captivated by music from the time she was a young child all throughout her formative years. Beginning in the seventh grade, he began belting out groovy beats and frequently formed his own distinctive rhythms throughout the rest of his school years. As he participated in various events or at school in impromptu performances, his friends and family became aware that he has a natural gift. However, Ball never considered pursuing a career in music, despite the fact that he has a talent for it.

In 2009, his uncle Quavious Keyate Marshall and his cousin Kiari Kendrell Cephus, who were immensely impressed by his raw talent, contacted him with the idea of forming a hip-hop trio. They wanted to collaborate with him. After Ball’s acceptance, the three of them went on to establish the band known as “Polo Club.” The three of them even went so far as to give themselves stage names; Quavious is now known as Quavo, Kiari is known as Offset, and Krishnik is known as Takeoff.

The band only performed terrible music and made sporadic stage appearances across the state of Georgia. Takeoff did not take the music thing very seriously even after all of this time. After some time, the other two members of the group sat down with him and brought to his attention his talents as well as the opportunities that the future may hold for them if they are successful. This served as a wake-up call for Takeoff, and from that point on, he committed himself wholeheartedly to composing high-quality music with the other members of his team.

Last but not least, in August of 2011, Polo Club released their very first full-length effort, which was a mixtape called Juug Season. They subsequently released another mixtape in 2012, this time in June of that year. During this period, they decided to alter the name of the group to Migos.

When the song “Versace” by Migos became an internet sensation in 2013, fame at long last came knocking on Takeoff’s door. After making its way through the music industry, the song eventually peaked at number 99 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. Drake, a Canadian rapper, was even able to turn his hand to a remix of the song, and he ended up performing it at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in 2013.

Migos released their mixtape titled “Y.R.N. (Young Rich Niggas)” in the wake of the success of their first hit single and chose the song “Versace” to serve as the lead single for the project. The album was met with widespread acclaim, with Brandon Soderberg of Spin Magazine awarding it an eight out of ten overall score. They began their performance career by participating in prime events, such as the birthday bash for Hot 109.7 radio station. By the end of 2013, Versache and Y.R.N. have been featured in a number of notable magazines in the hip-hop category of 2013, including Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and Spin Magazine.

Takeoff and the other members of Migos released their fourth project together in 2015, which was also the band’s first full-fledged album and was titled Yung Rich Nation. The album includes cameos from a number of notable artists, including Chris Brown and Young Thug, among others. The album reached the third spot on the Top Rap Album Charts in its initial week of release alone with sales of 150,000 copies.

Takeoff and Migos were planning to sign a lucrative contract with GOOD Music Imprint in 2016, which would have been brokered by Kanye West himself. However, as of 2017, the agreement has not been finalized and the contract has not been signed.

At the end of 2016, he distributed the first song from their second album, named “Bad and Boujee,” and it featured the voice of the rapper Lil Uzi Vert. The song quickly climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 list, becoming Takeoff’s first number one single in the United States. Over 400 million people have watched the band’s music video for the song, which can be found on their YouTube channel. In January of 2017, the album with the title Culture was made available for purchase.

Behind The Curtains

Migos is definitely a family affair as all three members are related to each other and have grown up together in the same Lawrenceville neighborhood. Quevo is Takeoff’s uncle and Offset is Quevo’s cousin. Kirshnik Ball’s educational background is not clear although it is assumed that he has completed his high school. There has been no rumors of his dating life probably because he hasn’t dated anyone high profile yet.
In March 2014, Takeoff, along with other Migos members, was involved in a shooting incident outside of Miami. Apparently, an unknown shooter fired upon the van carrying the hip-hop trio, from a parallel vehicle. Someone from the Migos’ entourage also returned fire from the van. Although some of his entourage was injured in the exchange, Takeoff and his band members were largely unharmed.
