SSC CPO Exam Selection Procedure
The selection process for the SSC CPO exam will have 5 different stages. These stages will be written examination followed by different stages. To be a part of SSC CPO exam eligible candidates have to pass the following tests.
- Written examination
- medical examination
- Personal interview
- PET and
- PST
The written examination will have 2 stages-
Paper 1
Paper 2
Candidate who will pass the written examination paper 1 will be selected for the next paper 2 and then for the next procedure of the selection and after that the final round that is personal interview. The merit list will be based on the score of written examination and performance of all over examination of the candidates.

Key points –
- Written Exam consists of 2 papers namely Paper 1 & Paper 2.
- Both written exam will be conducted in online mode.
- Paper 1 consists of 4 parts.
- Paper 2 consists of only 1 part.
- Duration for Paper I & Paper II is for 2 hours each.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
