Shortstop with the Philadelphia Phillies in Major League Baseball and a native of the Dominican Republic, Jean Segura is a professional baseball player (MLB).

His past teams include the Seattle Mariners, Milwaukee Brewers, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

In 2013 and 2018, Segura was selected to play in the All-Star Game, and in 2016, he led the National League in hits. During the 2017 World Baseball Classic, he was a member of the Dominican Republic national baseball team that competed.
