Caleb Smidt met his wife Breena Smidt when they were 14 years old during a rodeo. Caleb proposed to Breena after 9 years of dating.

Won the all-around at the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo in Texas, the State Fair of Louisiana Rodeo in Shreveport, the Waller County Fair & Rodeo in Hempstead, Texas, and the Trinity Valley Exposition Rodeo in Trinity, Texas (Liberty, Texas).
