Proctor, rated a five-star recruit and the nation’s top offensive tackle by 247Sports, committed to Iowa in June. He was expected to be a Day 1 starter and the biggest name in Iowa’s 2023 recruiting class.
Kadyn Proctor was born in Iowa to Sarah Perkins and Kevin Perkins. Sarah and Kevin are the parents of nine children.
Proctor comes from an athletic family; his father, Konta Collins, played NAIA football at William Penn, and he has NFL players as cousins.
Furthermore, he has a very supportive mother who always backs him up in all of his life decisions. Sarah was overjoyed when her son committed to Iowa in June 2022, and she supported the athlete’s decision to leave Iowa for the Alabama Crimson Tide in December 2022.

Sarah and Kevin Perkins, Kadyn Proctor’s parents, are from Pleasant Hill, Iowa.
The athlete is from Runnells, Iowa, and lives in Altoona with his mother, stepfather, and siblings. Furthermore, according to The Des Moines Register, his father, Konta Collins, was an NAIA football player at William Penn in Oskaloosa.
Furthermore, Kevin was born on April 13 and is active on social media. He posts about his life on Instagram and Twitter as @kperkins1972 and @kjperkins72. Similarly, Sarah has established an official Twitter account with the handle @SarahKP41.
His Mother, Sarah Works As A Registrar Operant
Sarah has spent over 13 years at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Kadyn’s mother began working at the university in 2009 as a Freshmen Testing Coordinator and was promoted to Student Placement Coordinator in 2017. She has also been the university’s assistant registrar since 2020.
Perkins has been the President & Director of Programs at Wisconsin Leadership Seminars since June 1994, according to her LinkedIn profile. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Education, College Student Personnel from Marquette University.
The assistant registrar had previously worked as a graduate assistant at her alma mater. She graduated from Eastern New Mexico with a B.S. in Biology; Chemistry/Athletic Training and worked as the campus union’s senior manager.
